Tsunami Trouble !


Dear Journal,
As you know I am currently in Africa in the Peace Corps. I just graduated pre-med and decided to go help people overseas before I start grad school. Unfortunately, right after I got here a huge tsunami hit South Africa. The people are devastated I can’t stop thinking about the poor people that got swept away from there family, and from there lives. If only I could have gotten here sooner, I could have helped at least a little.
I could have helped poor Ms. Zambala, who lost her husband and her two children. Maybe even help the police evacuate the area. But I didn’t! I have failed South Africa, I have failed my family, I have failed the Peace Corps and I have failed myself. I have to go, the helicopters are coming. There coming to pick me up off this thirty story hotel building………….of which 10 of them are under water.
